Requiem

Requiem - Lauren Oliver
"And you can't love, not fully unless you are loved in return."
The conclusion to the Delirium series comes with Requiem. At the end of the previous book, the readers were left with an amazing cliffhanger. In this one, we get to see first hand the consequences of such a revelation.
Lena has to come in terms with her feelings. But the world around her didn't stop and the resistance is now stronger than ever. The government is determined to put an end to all the invalids and restore 'order'.
The narration is divided between Lena and Hana, who is cured now. We get to learn the infuriating fact that Hana was the one that turned Alex and Lena in, when they were planning to escape to the Wilds. What a bitch.
Many readers have complained about the ending of the series and at first I was a bit disappointed too: but then the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. Lauren Oliver kept the ending open. She didn't have to define anything: whatever happens with Alex and Lena, Hana and Raven's fates.
