I can see why this has such a high (mainly male) following. The famous secret agent, James Bond is sent to spy on a french communist, play the game of cards and love and win only one. Women, cars and booze is his signature.

I enjoyed listening to this for the most part, although I was very annoyed at his sexist comments about women. I think the whole plot works better as a film and I plan on watching the adaptation with Daniel Craig. I think Eva Green as Vesper is a suitable choice, even though Eva comes off more independent than the fictional character.
