The Wide Window (A series of unfortunate events #3)

❝ If you didn't know much about the Baudelaire orphans, and you saw them sitting on their suitcases at Damocles Dock, you might think that they were bound for an exciting adventure. [..] But of course you would be dead wrong.❞
The third book in the "Series of unfortunate events" continues the story of the Baudelaire children. This time they go from the countryside to the Lake Lachrymose where aunt Josephine lives. She is an old widow who loves grammar and is terrified of..oh well.. pretty much everything! (realtors and telephones being on top of that list).
I don't remember much from the film, which is good storywise, but one thing I remember is who plays that particular guardian:
Yep that's Meryl Streep. Oh I do love her!
And I really like the way these stories are written!
Once again, count Olaf appears to ruin the children's chances of happiness (although to be honest Josephine was no Monty). Surprisingly enough, Sunny saves the day yet again! Klaus is by far my favorite one in these stories: I mean he really cracked the suicide note! I didn't even spot all these mistakes!
Who will be next??
