Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone: The illustrated edition

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: The Illustrated Edition - J.K. Rowling, Jim Kay

The Harry Potter phenomenon exploded when I was 11 years old (where is my letter???)

I saw the first movie (dubbed in greek in fact; hey I was eleven!) and of course like everyone else I was charmed by Rowling's tale. The second movie was taking too long to be released, so I borrowed the second book from my cousin. Books 3 to 7 followed. For some reason, I read and re-read these ones but never the first installement (3-7 were the ones I actually owned). I heard the first book narrated by the talented Jim Dale five years ago,and have since listened to it many times but I hadn't actually read the book myself.

So, as soon as I saw this I knew I must have it. The illustrations are very nice. Every page has something unique. Of course, the first book is rather thin compared to the other volumes. If you don't have the first book like me, buy this one!
