Bookish update - what I read/ February-March-April

It's been a struggle to read anything since this year began. Nothing held my attention. I must have started around ten books and finished none. An endless lists of books before me: review copies, new releases and library copies...

I was overwhelmed.

Until I asked myself what I really wanted to read. The answer was criminal fiction: a page turner that will ignite my reading passion. I turned to one of my favorites - Jeffery Deaver. I had started one of his books back in October (oh yes...) and just couldn't get into it. A trip we took last week presented the perfect reading spot: a 4-hour train ride! The book was really good; expect a review posted soon enough!

Apart from that I read a couple of graphic novels: the Morning Glories series and the new Sarah Andersen book. I enjoyed both! (again reviews will soon be up)

On other news, I bought some new books:

American Gods/Anansi Boys (Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Classics) - Neil Gaiman (audio and a beautiful hardback copy -couldn't resist)

Beartown: A Novel - Fredrik Backman (pre-ordered)

The Hate U Give - Angie Thomas (audio and kindle)

Dreadnought - April Daniels (kindle)

That's all for now! I can't wait to catch up with all of you!

Happy reading!!
