This book picks up the story where the first of the series left it with Diana and Matthew landing in the past. Even if there were certain elements that made this book interesting I found it extremely slow moving:
I get that the author wanted probably to give a taste of the 15th century London Era with the everyday chores our characters had to endure but I felt she overdid it. I mean come on! Did we really want a day to day of what happened? About the middle something interesting happens (see spoiler below)
..and then it was moving a lot faster.
Overall it was a good addition and I already started the third one.
